"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness."
— 2 Corinthians 12:9
More from 2 Corinthians →📜 Today's Meditation
Paul prayed three times asking God to remove the painful "thorn" in his flesh. But God's answer wasn't what he expected: "I won't take it away. Instead, my grace is enough for you."
At first, Paul must have been disappointed. But then he understood something profound—when he was weak, God's power was revealed most clearly.
Haven't we experienced the same thing? When we're struggling more than when we're confident, we find ourselves reaching for God. And in those moments of weakness, we experience His grace more deeply than ever. Our weakness isn't something to hide—it becomes the channel through which God's grace flows most freely.
🙏 Today's Prayer
God, help me not to be ashamed of my weakness. I believe that when I am weak, Your strength is made perfect. Help me to experience daily that it's okay not to be perfect, that Your grace is always enough. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
