📖 Today's Word

"My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction: For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth."

— Proverbs 3:11-12

📜 Today's Meditation

The word "discipline" sounds harsh, but the key is "whom the LORD loveth." God wouldn't discipline someone He doesn't care about—discipline is evidence of His love. A caring parent doesn't ignore their child when they're heading down the wrong path; they correct them, though it may be uncomfortable. God does the same. When hardship comes, shift your perspective. Instead of asking "Is God punishing me?" ask "Is God refining me?" That changes everything.

🙏 Today's Prayer

Lord, help me accept Your teaching with humility. Though circumstances are difficult, remind me that You are refining me in love, not punishing me. Give me grace to see discipline as proof of Your care. I trust in Your loving guidance. In Jesus' name, Amen.
