📖 Today's Word

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God; And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

— Philippians 4:6-7

📜 Today's Meditation

The instruction "Be careful for nothing" can feel unrealistic at first. Mortgage worries, health concerns, worries about our children—how can we not worry at all? Yet Paul wrote this letter from prison, facing possible execution. He wasn't speaking theory; he was speaking from lived experience.

The key lies in the phrase "with thanksgiving." We're told to transform our worries into prayers, and to infuse those prayers with gratitude. When we give thanks, our perspective shifts. We begin to see what we have rather than what we lack.

🙏 Today's Prayer

Lord, I confess that worry weighs heavily on me. Yet I bring these concerns to You. Help me to pray with gratitude, and grant me Your peace. Guard my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus. I trust You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
