📖 Today's Word

"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

📜 Today's Meditation

The risen Jesus speaks to His disciples. When He declares that all authority has been given to Him, He does not speak to display His own strength. Rather, He promises to pour that authority into building His disciples and making all nations into disciples of the Lord.

The same applies to us. The abilities, positions, and time God has given us are not for ourselves. They exist to serve others in our given circumstances and to help them become disciples who follow Jesus. Sometimes this calling feels lonely and overwhelming. We might feel like we stand alone.

But listen to Jesus's promise: "I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world." The One who gave us the Great Commission will never leave us. The One who holds the power of death and resurrection remains with us, sustaining us. Therefore, we need not be afraid. Whatever help we need, in whatever circumstances we face, the Lord's presence means we already dwell under eternal protection.

🙏 Today's Prayer

Lord, we thank You for reminding us that You hold all power. Help us understand that this power exists not to dominate us, but to protect and guide us. Enable us to use the abilities and opportunities You have given us for the sake of others. Help us to be disciples who lean upon Your constant presence. Grant us to stand upon Your promise and participate in extending Your kingdom. Amen.
