📜 Today's Meditation

Jeremiah 29 is a letter sent to the exiles carried away to Babylon. To people who had lost their homeland and lived in despair in a foreign land, God spoke an unexpected word: build houses, plant gardens, seek the welfare of the city. Rather than the false prophets' promise of a quick return, God revealed a hard truth — seventy years. Yet at the end of that long waiting, He attached one promise: seek me with all your heart, and you will find me. On this fourth day of Lent, this verse asks us: am I truly seeking God with my whole heart, or only in hurried habit?

🙏 Today's Prayer

Heavenly Father, I stand before Your promise that those who seek You with all their heart will find You. I confess how often I have prayed with only half a heart — distracted by worry, crowded by busyness. During this Lenten season, I turn my whole heart back to You. Grant me courage to reorient my life toward You, and faith to hold onto Your promises even through long waiting. In Jesus' name, Amen.
