This psalm was sung when entering the temple during worship. Nobody approached God's gates with complaints or doubts—they came with gratitude and joy. The entrance to God's presence is gratitude itself.
"For the LORD is good." These are few words, but they're powerful. When circumstances seem dark, God remains good. When we can't understand His ways, He is still good. This confession becomes the foundation of our thanksgiving. When we declare God's goodness before entering His presence, our whole perspective changes.
🙏 Today's Prayer
Almighty God, I come before You with thanksgiving in my heart. You are good, merciful, and faithful beyond measure. I confess this truth today. Fill my day with gratitude, and help me live a life that praises Your name. Grant me the grace to see Your goodness in all circumstances. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
